The Geek Rooms is the world's first invite-only co-working space dedicated to the geeks of Glasgow. We're partners with and occupy the same space as The Gamer Club.
The club is centrally located in the centre of Glasgow - on Bath Lane, just between Blythswood Street and West Campbell Street. Look at our getting here page for more information.
We have four main rooms in the club, one for small events and meetings, a small arcade where you can kick back and take some time out, a lounge and kitchen area with free tea and cofee and our PC lab with a mini 3D printing and electronics hackerspace. You can find out more about each on our Rooms page.
Memberships are £39/month. You have to already know a member to make an application, but we try to make the process as simple as possible - just fill in the form and we'll be in touch. On a successful application you'll be invited for a tour of the venue and you'll receive your entry key which gives you access to the space at any time of the day or night.
Once you are a member, everything in the venue is free - there are no hidden charges for booking out a space etc. The benefits of membership include:
We run a regular Open Day to show new members around the venue, and we welcome requests to visit. There is a public chat room available to get to know some of the regular members at #gamersclub:glasgow.social.
If you have any more questions about the space, please ask in the chat room, or use the contact page to get in touch. There is also a list of Frequently Asked Questions.
